We offer Children's Church for children aged 5-12 during our church service. After our worship time, your child will be lovingly escorted to Chirldren's Church by our dedicated teachers, or they can remain with you. Children's Church is led by our pastor's wife, Jeanie Wallace, (MABS, Dallas Seminary), a retired puclic school elementary teacher and former Christian school principal with 25 years of teaching eexperience. We do more than entertain our children; we teach them age-appropriate Bible lessons with the goal of leading them to love Jesus and follow Him.

The typical service lasts about 75 minues. A worship band leads woship with both contemporary and blended-traditional music. Next the message emphasizes Bible teaching which is relevant to everyday life, mostly verse-by-verse through the Scriptures. Following the service, we offer a love-feast featuring a buffet of delicious food prepared by our hospitality team. This feast greatly enriches our fellowship with one another. You're invited!!

The first step is to take our 6 week Newcomer's class offered periodically. This will help you understand the beliefs and values of Risen King church. It will also help you discover how God has designed you to serve as a part of the body of Christ. 

Risen King offers a number of small group fellowships and Bible studies through the week on a variety of topics. We have men's and women's ministries and a variety of social events such as picnics, women's teas, movie nights, potlucks, and other special events throughout the year..
